"In this world we have dreamers and doers; what we really need are dreamers that do and doers that dream."—Eleanor Roosevelt

If you ask people to give you a definition of social justice you'll probably get many answers. But typically, social justice is described as the right and opportunity of all people to benefit from resources afforded us by society and the environment. It is a world which affords individuals and groups fair treatment and also refers to the distribution of advantages and disadvantages within a society. A social activist is typically one that feels compelled to stand up against the unjust treatment of certain groups in a community or society and truly believes profound change is possible. We all have ultimate worth, and we have more in common with each other than less. So go ahead, look really good, and I know you'll actually find the "them in us."
